| Bexley's Newest Introduced at the DC Supershow IMPERIAL INTERNATIONAL |
Bexley has produced a new pen, the Imperial International, styled like the large
ebonite Imperial but scaled down and produced in three retro colors of resin. The
International is 1/2" shorter than the oversize Imperial. The International is still a full
size pen at nearly 5 1/2" capped, 5" uncapped, and 6 3/4" posted. Nibs are two-tone
steel in F, M, or B and filling is by cartridge or converter. I have been using a prototype
as an eyedropper filler with no leaks or problems of any kind. Colors hark back to the
1950's.
Gray, Burgundy, and Green, all with black sections. The default trim is shown but any
color can be ordered with either gold or rhodium plated clips.
The International is an affordable pen and the JoWo steel nib provides an excellent
writing experience. MSRP is $189.
