Bexley Ebonite, Green Agate (Olive Ripple), early Bexley 14K B nib, C/C fill, looks
unused with box and outer slipcase. One of the Ebonite series issued in 1998 for
Bexley's 5th Anniversary. Not a numbered LE like the chased obsidian, but not too

                                              Bexley Special Edition 56

Bexley's tribute to the classic Waterman 56, made just a bit shorter to be
pocket friendly and with the addition of a functional rollerball clip.  Made from
mottled hard rubber in Blue/Black and Olive/Black (the Red/Black is sold out
at this time), the 56 may be filled using the supplied converter, an international
cartridge, or directly into the barrel with an eyedropper for greater ink
capacity.  Nibs are 18K in F, M, B, or Broad Stub.

                               Bexley Maki-e Dragon Limited Edition

In late 2008, the Bexley Pen Company introduced a 28-piece Limited Edition
Maki-e version of its popular Poseidon fountain pen. Although 28 pieces
were intended, only 16 have been manufactured and no more may be made.

This pen is manufactured in the USA with a cap and barrel of black acrylic
resin, and then sent to Japan where a Maki-e artist creates the dragon image.

Maki-e literally means 'sprinkled picture', a technique first developed in
Japan more than 1000 years ago. A Maki-e artist uses small, soft brushes
and tiny bamboo tubes to apply fine powders of gold, silver, and other alloys
to create an image in lacquer.

The Bexley Maki-e Poseidon is 5-3/16" long and 5/8" in diameter, so it fits
comfortably in your hand and pocket. It is equipped with Bexley's two-tone
18K gold nib, available in a fine, medium, large, or stub width. The pen fills
with the supplied converter, or with international size ink cartridges.

I have pen # 13/28 in stock and if you are interested in purchasing this lovely
limited edition pen, please write for price information. MSRP is $1495.
                                         Bexley Kensaki Limited Edition

I've managed to get another Kensaki so I am offering this duplicate from my
collection for sale. Issued in 2003, The Kensaki was made in an edition of 58 pens
for the Japan Pen Club and 58 pens for the U.S. market. This is pen 06/58 USA and
has a Stub nib with good flow.

The Kensaki features an oversize 18K two-tone 8 mm nib, made by Bock and hand
ground by a Japanese nib master. Piston fill, ink view window, solid 18k gold clip,
ebonite cap with woodgrain cold enamel inlays, and an ivory colored barrel overlay.
MSRP was $1750 and examples are very hard to come by today.

Original box and instructions included. This hard to find previously owned example
with stub nib is priced at $875 including US shipping.
