Parkville Pen
To the point!
Just arrived from Bexley, the first production models of the Imperial, large yet
lightweight due to ebonite construction. Two new colors of mottled ebonite, not used on
any Bexley before. First is the Violet and Black mottled on the left above and in the
center, Denim Blue and Black mottled. On the right is the Red and Black mottled used
on the prototypes. The major complaint about the prototype pens was the squared off
edge of the barrel meeting the rounded edge of the cap. Bexley listened and that sharp
divide is no more. The Imperial has a new gracefully arched clip, available in either
rhodium or gold plate finish. Filling is by cartridge or the included converter or the
Imperial may be filled directly into the barrel with an eyedropper for large ink capacity.

Nibs available are the Bexley 18K two-tone in Fine, Medium, Broad, or Broad (1.3
mm) Stub.

Pen dimensions are 6" capped and almost 5 1/2" uncapped. The barrel does have a
sharp stepdown, but that should not interfere unless you tend to grip your pens very
high on the section. I don't post the caps on pens of this size, but if you do you'll end up
with a pen that is about 7 1/2" long. The barrel diameter measures in at .59", a large
but not obese size.
